Race Evenings
We are able to offer "live" ferret race evenings for fundraisers or corporate events.
The evenings run in a similar way to video horse race nights, with tote style betting and an auction of "ownership" of the ferrets in the final race.
If you would like to host a race evening then you will need to find a venue in your local area.
Unfortunately we can only run these evenings on Saturdays as we are a volunteer run organisation whose members work full time elsewhere.
Prior to the event we will come and see you to arrange the format for the evening, we can tailor the racing around a meal or other entertainment. We can also provide you with posters and flyers to promote the event along with the tickets to sell if you require.
On the night we will provide ferrets, racetrack, handlers and trophy for the winning "owner". Our standard format is for 6 races, ownership auction and grand final. This takes around two and a half hours to run including the placing of bets and payout of winnings. Of course, this format can be changed to suit your requirements when we meet you beforehand.
